Subaru flashing check engine

Upon the diagnosis of the Subaru Forester, the reason for seeking the engine troit, flashing the check, and of course twitching, increased fuel consumption.

To diagnose faults and identify the cause of the misfire didn’t even have to plug the scanner in this case, everything was clear after opening the hood. See for yourself.

Well seen and heard that spark in the fourth cylinder is not burning back to the cylinder, and pierces the body of the ignition coil. Remove the ignition coil and see this picture.

The metal tip of the high voltage wire came off and the spark found a more simple way, the housing of the ignition coil. The tip was welded so that turned out to be quite problematic to get it. Here is the wire of this cylinder.

This requires replacement high voltage leads of the fourth cylinder and the ignition coil.
